Job description

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

Manage the full accounting cycle of the Company and its subsidiaries, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, reconciliation, profit & loss statements, and balance sheet preparation.
Prepare and submit consolidated financial reports to headquarters within required deadlines.
Develop, review, and implement financial policies, systems, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and compliance.
Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Handle corporate tax filings, computations, and ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
Coordinate with external auditors, prepare audit schedules, and ensure smooth audit processes.
Process payroll, staff claims, and reimbursements for the company and subsidiaries.
Monitor cash flow, bank transactions, and treasury-related activities.
Perform ad-hoc financial tasks and process improvements as needed.

Additional Information:

Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related industry.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, consolidation, and compliance standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) and accounting software.
