Our client, a respected organisation in the formwork, scaffolding, and shoring solutions sector, is seeking an Assistant Warehouse Manager to support the full spectrum of warehouse operations in Pasir Gudang. This role assists the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily operations, driving efficiency, and ensuring materials are handled safely and professionally. It suits someone experienced in heavy construction materials and ready to take on a leadership role.

• Assist in coordinating and supervising daily warehouse activities including receiving, inspection, storage, picking, and dispatching.
• Support the management of formwork, scaffolding, and shoring materials to ensure proper handling and storage.
• Help optimise warehouse layout, workflow, and utilisation of space.
• Ensure timely and efficient movement of materials for projects and deliveries.

• Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock checks, and discrepancy investigations.
• Assist in maintaining proper documentation of inbound and outbound materials.
• Monitor material conditions, repairs, and returns processes.
• Coordinate with procurement, project teams, and logistics on stock needs and deployment timelines.

• Assist in supervising warehouse staff, storekeepers, and equipment operators.
• Help train team members on SOPs, safety procedures, and operational standards.
• Support in scheduling, task assignment, and performance monitoring.
• Promote a positive working environment and teamwork culture.

• Ensure adherence to OSHA standards and internal safety guidelines.
• Assist in safety briefings, inspections, and hazard assessments.
• Ensure proper maintenance and safe usage of forklifts, lifting equipment, and tools.
• Reinforce PPE compliance and safe handling of heavy industrial materials.

• Assist in preparing operational reports, inventory updates, material movement logs, and KPI tracking.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse productivity.
• Provide recommendations to the Warehouse Manager for process optimisation.

• 3–6 years of warehouse operations experience, ideally in formwork, scaffolding, construction materials, or heavy industrial equipment.
• Experience supervising or leading small teams is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, inventory systems, and material handling.
• Familiarity with SAP/WMS or similar systems is an advantage.
• Strong communication, organisational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in an industrial warehouse environment.
• Forklift license is an added advantage but not mandatory.
• Industrial warehouse and outdoor yard setting involving heavy materials.
• Requires movement, walking, and occasional lifting.
• Full‑time role based in Pasir Gudang, Johor.
