We are seeking an experienced, hands‑on Unity & Frontend Team Lead to lead and scale our Web and Mobile 3D development teams. This role is critical in driving the evolution of our products from MVP to market‑ready, AI‑native applications, combining Web 3D, Mobile 3D, AI‑driven avatars, AR, and volumetric video.

You will work closely with the CTO to define architecture, build and mentor high‑performing teams, and deliver next‑generation 3D experiences across web and mobile platforms. This role requires both strong technical depth and strategic leadership, with a mindset geared toward scalability, performance, and AI‑assisted development.

• Technical Leadership & Architecture
  • Lead and mentor Web and Mobile 3D engineering teams through code reviews, technical guidance, and development plans.
  • Design scalable, high‑performance architectures for Web (React, Three.js) and Mobile (Unity, C# / MAUI) applications.
  • Define and evolve core 3D systems for avatars, animations, volumetric video, AR, and interactive experiences.
  • Ensure performance optimization (e.g., 60 FPS targets, memory management, mobile constraints).
  • Oversee CI/CD pipelines, deployment stability, and application reliability across platforms.
• Product Development & Core Systems
  • Web 3D Platform
    • Architect and enhance immersive web products using React, Three.js, and custom shaders.
    • Optimize proprietary Web Players for 3D avatars, volumetric video, and heavy media workloads.
    • Supervise WebAR features and browser‑based 3D mini‑games.
  • Mobile 3D Applications
    • Lead the development of Unity‑based mobile apps transitioning from MVP to market‑ready products.
    • Develop and oversee systems for animation playback, point clouds, mesh generation, compression, and networking.
    • Guide implementation of UI in Unity based on Figma designs.
    • Support native integrations and plugin development for mobile device capabilities.
• AI & Advanced Technology Integration
  • Drive the adoption of AI‑assisted development workflows (code generation, prototyping, testing).
  • Integrate Generative AI technologies such as voice cloning, LLMs, and AI‑driven avatar systems.
  • Collaborate with AI teams to ensure seamless integration of AI models into Web and Mobile products.
• Team Building & People Leadership
  • Recruit, build, and lead multidisciplinary teams across Web 3D, Unity, MAUI, and Mobile platforms.
  • Mentor engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and technical excellence.
  • Manage and coordinate globally distributed teams effectively.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with AI, Backend, Web, and Mobile teams to ensure system alignment and smooth integrations.
  • Partner with commercial and product teams to align the technical roadmap with B2B and B2C market needs.
  • Ensure analytics, performance metrics, and scalability considerations are embedded into the product roadmap.

Experience

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven experience as a Team Lead / Tech Lead, managing and mentoring engineers.
• Strong background in 3D application development for Web and/or Mobile platforms.

Technical Skills

• Web Stack
  • JavaScript / TypeScript (ES6+)
  • React.js, Three.js, React Three Fiber
  • WebGL, GLSL (Shaders)
• Mobile / Unity Stack
  • Strong C# and Unity experience
  • Knowledge of 3D math, linear algebra, matrices, and geometry
  • Familiarity with MAUI / .NET is a plus
• General
  • Performance optimization for heavy media applications
  • Understanding of rendering pipelines and memory management
  • Experience with CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and Git-based workflows

Nice to Have

• Experience with volumetric video or point cloud processing
• Custom shader development (GLSL / HLSL)
• Backend experience with Node.js or microservices
• Experience integrating AI APIs (LLMs, voice cloning, generative tools)
• AR frameworks (WebAR or mobile AR SDKs)
