The post holder is the PA to the Senior Operational Estates Managers on bank, which provides comprehensive and confidential administrative and secretarial services to enable them to carry out their role effectively.

The post holder will undertake the co-ordination and control of common support processes/systems including departmental procedures, training and health & safety and will be required to communicate effectively with other departments and external agencies. This role requires a high level of discretion and the ability to work unsupervised and to exercise initiative, a sense of accountability accompanied by an ability to work under pressure and prioritising tasks effectively whilst working to deadlines.

The Estates administrative team provides secretarial services directly for various Managers and Supervisors, administration services for the Estates teams as required. Full details can be found in the attached job description.

• Relevant vocational level 3 qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience
• GCSE or equivalent in English and Mathematics

• Previous experience as a PA to a Director or Senior Manager
• Experience of managing diaries
• Ability to work within tight deadlines and proven skills in personal time management

• Experience of minuting meetings, face to face and virtually
• Experience of organising events

• Advanced IT skills including Microsoft Office applications

• Experience using ESR, e-Proc and other Trust/NHS systems

• Commitment to providing a high standard of efficient office practice ensuring a quality service is provided at all times
• Strong attention to detail
• Confident - able to deal with individuals in senior roles and in difficult situations
