Job summary
A leading manufacturing company in England is seeking a skilled Lead Machinist (CNC Turner) to become the technical point of contact for the turning section. The role involves operating and programming CNC turners, meeting production targets, and contributing to new product development. The ideal candidate has experience with Mazatrol, Siemens, and Fanuc controls and demonstrates strong leadership skills. Qualifications
- Able to program turning and twin-spindle/millturn machines.
- Experience with Mazatrol controls or both Siemens and Fanuc.
- Strong background in CNC machining and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Operating, setting and programming standard CNC turners.
- Online programming using Mazatrol, Siemens, and Fanuc.
- Offline programming with MasterCam.
- Proving out new programmes and processes.
- Assisting with production targets and workload planning.
