Job Title: Production Supervisor
Location: Newport

Job Summary:
Manpower are seeking a highly motivated Production Supervisor to manage and motivate our clients factory floor team. This role involves ensuring efficient production operations, maintaining high-quality standards, and adhering to health and safety protocols. The position is 90% factory-based and 10% office work.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements and report any issues promptly.
2. Production Efficiency: Ensure tasks are carried out correctly and efficiently, meeting process cycle times and production plans.
3. Quality Management: Supervise work to meet quality standards and ensure 'Right First Time' production.
4. Team Management: Supervise, motivate, and manage the production team, addressing any disciplinary issues fairly.
5. Organisational Skills: Maintain a clean, organised factory floor with effective 5S systems.
6. Maintenance and Training: Oversee TPM maintenance activities and ensure up-to-date training records.
7. Stock Management: Manage powder consumable storage and sub-contract processes.
8. Communication: Foster a positive team mindset and communicate effectively with employees and managers.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Experience: 3 years of supervisory experience
2. Health & Safety Understanding: Essential.
3. Quality and Core Tools Knowledge: Required.
