About The RoleAs a member of the Despatch team, you’ll help to ensure our products reach the correct customer and continue the high quality expected of Avara Foods.

£12.50 plus £1.23 / £14.06 plus £1.23
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include- Conduct full daily stock checks.
- Accountable for ensuring stock checks are correct.
- Report all stock to the appropriate departments/management, e.g. Planning & Production Managers.
- Accountable for ensuring system is updated and the data accurately reflects stock held in despatch/chiller.
- To complete all paperwork relevant to the role.
- Ensure product rotation is correct within the area.
- Normal day will be picking orders for customers and loading of trailers when not covering stock controller role.
What We Are Looking For- Secondary school qualifications in Maths & English - GCSE or equivalent - essential
- Knowledge of production processes - essential
- Proven effective communication skills and attention to detail - essential
- Proven problem solving skills & ability to be assertive and make decisions - essential
- Proven experience of working on own initiative and organisation skills - desirable
- NVQ Level 2 in Food Manufacturing - desirable
