Quality Control And Production Operative

We are looking for a candidate who will be able to take responsibility of a Quality Control operative whilst also being able to help out as a production operative. This candidate will need to be reliable regarding the role, have a passion for maintaining quality control standards and ensuring compliance with BRC regulations and HACCP procedures.

Duties Include:

1. Working as part of a team, completing tasks assigned by team leaders and management.
2. Assist with quality control and production line duties as required.
3. Ensure all technical and legal requirements are met, reporting any issues as necessary.
4. Accurately record product statistics and stock transactions using automated systems.
5. Support supervisors and the quality team in maintaining health & safety compliance.
6. Ensure the factory always remains 'audit ready.'
7. Monitor and maintain traceability codes for products.
8. Assist with dispatch processes, ensuring quality standards are upheld.
9. Participate in housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness across the factory and site.
10. Work on the production line as required.

Working Hours:

05.45am - Finish (usually between 3pm and 4pm), Monday - Friday and two 30-minute unpaid breaks.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Previous experience as a Quality Controller (preferred).
2. Experience in a factory or food production environment (preferred).
3. Strong time management and organisational skills.
