Ashton Recruitment require an Engineering Administrator for our client based in Ballynahinch.

Position: Engineering Administrator
Location: Ballynahinch
Duration: Temp-Perm
Pay Rate: £26,000 - £34,000

This long-established manufacturer of agricultural trailers serves both domestic and international markets. Founded in 1969, the company is renowned for its high-quality products and holds a strong reputation within the engineering sector. A new opportunity has arisen for an individual with solid technical knowledge to join their experienced team. The successful candidate will take on a hybrid role involving both administrative tasks and factory floor responsibilities. This position is ideal for someone looking to broaden their engineering experience in a dynamic, hands-on environment.

Duties will include:
  1. Purchase Orders for factory materials and consumables
  2. Create and manage factory documentation including SOPS (Standard Operating Procedures), Training Records, Job Cards within a working environment with the tendency towards paperless operations.
  3. Other general technical office duties.
  4. H&S Documentation
Essential Criteria:
  1. IT skills with proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, Microsoft Operating Systems and general hardware understanding.
  2. Must be able to work with initiative and demonstrate problem solving skills.
  3. Must hold valid UK driving licence
Desirable Criteria:
  1. Engineering qualification or similar
  2. Knowledge of LEAN processes
  3. Experience in engineering sector
