What will I be doing?
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you’ll direct day-to-day operations of Wilton 11 Energy Recovery Centre including rail movements, making sure the facility runs smoothly. It’s a case of making sure that we comply with environmental laws, regulatory standards and legislative directives, while managing staff, monitoring performance and keeping an eye on finances and managing budgets. At the same time, you’ll look for ways to improve the way we work, develop safe, efficient working practices and plan any other activities that may be required.
What are the requirements?
Having worked in the process industry before, you’ll already have a good idea of what operations management involves. You also know about environmental legislation and standard IT software. Underpinning all this will be an HNC (or equivalent experience) in Mechanical/Electrical/Process Engineering. If you can also get the best out of teams and individuals, we’d definitely like to hear from you.
