We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Assistant. The main focus of the role will be to provide dispensing and support service towards departments in the hospital and pharmacy reception duties with some patient contact. Use of IT and liaising with health care professionals will be routine aspects of the role. Whilst experience of working with medicines within a pharmacy environment would be an advantage, full training can be provided.
Meeting the needs of our service users is extremely important to us, and we are looking for an individual who shares our vision to deliver a high quality, service-user focused approach.
Participation will be required in the late night, weekend and bank holiday rota.
You should have, or be willing to work towards, an NVQ level 2 in Pharmacy Services, or a recognised equivalent. If you have not already got it, Maths, Science and English at GCSE grade C / Grade 4 or above or recognised equivalent are essential.
