We are offering an Financial Accountant position in our Madrid office, to build the global contextual advertising leader.

YOUR CHALLENGE

• You will be responsible for the correct accounting and timely closing of the opex of the group both for controlling and compliance purposes.
• You will be responsible for the monthly closing and reporting of individual entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Your closing responsibilities will include, ensuring the timely closing of your countries, coordinating with the different teams involved in the process, review and signing off on the reconciliation of the balance sheet accounts.
• You will support the tax in preparing the necessary tax reports for the tax compliance of your entities.
• You will collaborate to develop appropriate processes for the accounting and closing procedures.
• You will participate in the external consolidated audit processes and you will lead the external audit of your entities (if necessary).

YOU WILL SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE IF

• You have a business management or finance-related degree.
• You have between 3 - 4 years in a tier 1 accounting firm + 1-2 years in a similar role.
• US GAAP knowledge is a plus.
• You are fluent in English and Spanish. Other languages would be an advantage.
• You have thorough experience with spreadsheets and Excel.
• Experience in Netsuite ERP is a plus.
• You are attentive to detail and well-organized.
• You possess strong prioritization skills; flexibility and the ability to multitask daily.
• You are not afraid to speak up, make mistakes, learn from them and propose improvements.
• You have an international and multicultural mindset.
