Job summary
A leading security firm is currently seeking a Full-Time Security Guard in Bolton, Ontario. Candidates must possess a valid Ontario Security Guard License, be CPR certified, and have a valid driver's license with reliable vehicle access. Responsibilities include enforcing regulations, maintaining order, controlling visitor access, and monitoring security systems. Ideal candidates will exhibit excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic. Paid training is provided with an hourly pay rate of $17.75.

- Must Drive (Own Vehicle) / Have access to a car.
- Full-time.
- Open availability (6:30 AM - 2:30 PM / 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM / 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM).
- Enforce regulations of establishments.
- Visitor Access Control.
- Maintain order and follow and adhere to post orders.
- Use telecommunications (i.e. two‑way radio, cell phone, telephone paging systems).
- Follow radio and emergency telephone procedures.
- Monitor security cameras.
- Operate security control room equipment.
- Patrolling.
- Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed.
- Respond to alarms, bomb threats, and other emergencies.
- Detect or prevent thefts and vandalism.
- Report writing.
- Must possess a valid Ontario Security Guard License.
- CPR Level C Certified.
- Must have a valid Ontario Driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
- Must be available to do shift work: Mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional work ethics.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new computer programs site‑specific.
- Excellent Customer Service.
- Willing to travel 40‑50 kilometers to work if needed.
- Full‑time.
- Paid training.
- Pay rate $17.75/Hr.
