We work with children, youth and families who have experienced mental health struggles, behavioural problems, developmental delay, neglect, abuse and trauma. Track: Young People’s Lodge provides services to help treat adolescents with serious emotional and/or behavioural difficulties who are not yet able to be effectively served in the community. An emphasis is placed on parental involvement, community participation, and the development of relevant community-living skills. The treatment modalities include the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT), an evidence-based practice developed by Bruce D. Perry, M.D., Ph.D., and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), which focuses on teaching skills in four areas: mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance and interpersonal effectiveness.
We are looking for a regular, full-time Night Counsellor. These are awake, overnight positions working 5 days on, 2 days off from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
The Night Counsellors’ primary responsibilities are to attend to the health and welfare of the children and the security of the programs and campus. Employees in this classification perform essential work as it applies to the care, nurturance, and supervision of our youth.

Salary Range: $44,424 – $56,064
