The Technical Consultant will deliver technical solutions that support Eastnets’ strategy and address the requirements of Eastnets’ customer base. This role will provide remote and on‑site support to customers on the assigned implementations and support issues. He/She will plan and implement activities for designated projects to ensure that the project's goals and objectives are achieved within the set timeframe. Additionally, they will ensure the implementation of the project’s functional design as outlined in the business implementation plan.
Key Responsibilities
- Succeed in certifications as per Eastnets Certification Track within the deadlines set by the team leader/manager.
- Responsible for successful on-site implementations of standard offerings.
- Assist the customers through remote support as per the rules and timelines of Eastnets support contracts.
- Follow the training guides outlined by the team leader/manager.
- Implement Eastnets Solutions on the customer’s site in accordance with Eastnets standard implementation processes (including Readiness Check and Training).
- Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach in all customer interactions.
- Provide recommendations on technology upgrades.
- Communicate with all customer implementation and support interactions to team members.
- Participate in designing, developing, and supporting new offers as requested by the team lead.
- Recommend and participate in the development of a QA/QC process with the development team.
- Identify weaknesses/issues and recommend improvements in the company development process.
- Support newly developed solutions.
- Train implementation and support staff.
- Deliver product/service/solution training as needed.
- Download & notify users of relevant EN product documents to servers as requested by the team lead.
- Attend engineering team meetings to coordinate activities.
- Provide backup and support for any implementation and support activity as requested by the team lead.
- Develop, review, maintain and support the customer’s business and technical requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, automation and exchange knowledge initiatives of the Professional Services team.
- Plan deployments and technical designs with a supervising senior.
- Ensure timely completion of projects and deployments.
- Coordinate new technology vendor technical presentations as requested by the team lead.
- Work with selected vendors to test/develop new solutions for EN as requested by the team lead.
- Complete 90% of implementations successfully within the deadlines.
- Develop at least 2 technical documents to be added to the knowledge base.
- Recommend improvements to customer communication, implementation and support processes and procedures.
- Deliver technical training as needed.
- Participate in company-wide initiatives when assigned and required.
- Maintain the security of information, devices and systems that Eastnets, and its personnel, customers and partners use.
- Protect Eastnets business information and any customer, supplier or partner information within its custody by safeguarding its confidentiality, integrity and availability.
- Adhere to and comply with Eastnets internal security policies, Code of Ethics, Non-disclosure policy, non-compete policy, email policy, proprietary rights acknowledgment, background check policy, and all other internal policies and employee handbook.
- Participate in the company’s wide initiatives.
Requirements
- 3‑5 years of relevant industry experience (IT field, fintech, banking solutions, delivery and professional consultations).
- Strong knowledge of Windows, UNIX, MSSQL or Oracle.
- Strong data analytical skills, database scripting and development.
- Proven track record in software installation and troubleshooting.
- Managed working teams and completed at least four major projects/implementations.
- Demonstrable ability to develop skills; operate effectively within the team dynamics and to achieve goals and administer training.
- Familiarity with data encryption, security, firewalls, networking, and REST API.
- Familiarity with AI technologies and their application is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of DevOps and Apache Spark is a plus.
- Exposure to technology tools in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Big Data processing.
- Computer Science/Engineering graduate from a reputable university.
- Windows, UNIX, MSSQL or Oracle development certification is a plus.
- PMP/ACP certification is a plus.
- Professional experience in the financial applications industry is a plus.
- DevOps and API experience is a plus.
