3. Experience in preparation and filing of UAE VAT returns.
4. Experienced in handling preparation, filing, and following up on VAT refund applications.
5. Experienced in conducting VAT health checks.
6. Experience in supporting clients to respond to FTA/Tax authorities for the queries/information asked by them from clients during the audit proceedings.
7. Experienced in research on tax matters.
8. Experienced in preparing proposals.

Tax Associate

1. Good knowledge of UAE VAT.
2. Experience in Coordination with clients to collate required data for review/preparation of VAT returns.
3. Experienced in data analysis to support the seniors in preparing and reviewing VAT returns/advice.
4. Experienced in filing VAT return filings on the FTA portal and following up with clients to ensure timely VAT payments by them.
5. Experienced in the preparation of proposals.
6. Experienced in research on tax matters.

Tax Executive/Analyst

1. Working knowledge of UAE VAT.
2. Experience in assisting seniors in the preparation of reports, VAT computations, VAT returns, Refunds, and Registration/Deregistration applications.
3. Experience in coordination with clients to collate required data for engagements.

Desired Candidate Profile

Manager

1. Must be a quick learner to understand client’s business and experienced in interpreting the VAT articles in the legislation to advise on the tax positions to the clients.
2. Apt in creating processes, flowcharts, and standards templates from a VAT perspective for providing services to clients.
3. Lead and assist the Director/Partner in client management for new and existing relationships.
4. Provide guidance/training to team members and the internal department on Indirect Tax related matters.
5. Guide and mentor junior members of the team.
6. Minimum of 5 - 7 years' experience in UAE VAT.
7. Experience handling Excise and Customs in UAE/GCC countries would be an added advantage.
8. Prior working experience in consulting firms, preferably Big4 or Big 10, is preferred.
9. Candidate should have ACA/ACCA/CPA/CTA Qualifications.
10. Understanding of how ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, Navision, Sun System) work and how to manage data efficiently is desirable.
11. Excellent English communication skills, both speaking and writing.
12. Commercially driven.

2. Ability to assist with handling correspondence with the FTA and participate in handling tax audits.
3. Minimum of 2-3 years experience in UAE VAT.
4. Ideally qualified Commerce/ Law Graduate/ CA / CPA / ACCA.
5. Excellent skills in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint in particular) and working knowledge of ERP Systems.
6. Analytical skills.
7. Good interpersonal skills, effective communicator and team player (fluent in English, spoken and written).

Tax Executive/Analyst

1. Ability to analyze and understand the commercial aspects of various transactions/ industries that may have a potential tax impact.

5. Ideally, qualified Commerce/ Law Graduate / Inter CA/ ACCA partly qualified.
