We are seeking a Social Media Coordinator to join the team of our client who is one of the largest governmental organisations in Dubai.
The Social Media Coordinator plays a key role in managing the organization&aposs B2C social media presence across X (Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Threads.
This role has a contract duration of 10 months.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Strategy & Management
- Develop and maintain content calendars (daily, weekly, and monthly) aligned with business objectives and industry trends.
- Prepare detailed creative briefs for content production teams and oversee content creation processes.
- Coordinate on-site content production, including video shoots and interviews.
- Capture and produce short-form content using mobile devices for social media stories and posts.
- Ensure all published content aligns with brand identity and communication strategies.
Copywriting & Creative Development
- Write compelling social media copy, repurposing long-form content (e.g., press releases) into engaging posts.
- Adapt executive speeches and presentations into impactful LinkedIn content.
- Develop interview questions for social media video content.
- Collaborate with creative teams to conceptualize engaging multimedia content.
Platform Management & Optimization
- Maintain social media accounts, ensuring brand consistency in bios, visuals, and overall channel hygiene.
- Monitor and address technical issues by liaising with platform representatives (Meta, X, TikTok) and social media management tool providers (Sprout, Sprinklr, Hootsuite).
Trend Analysis & Community Engagement
- Monitor global and local social media trends to enhance content strategy.
- Identify and leverage trending topics, hashtags, and formats to increase audience engagement.
Performance Insights & Campaign Support
- Analyze social media performance metrics, providing actionable insights to refine strategies.
- Contribute to campaign planning and execution by generating creative ideas and recommendations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or higher in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- Professional certification in marketing or communications (preferred).
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in social media management.
- Industry exposure in large cross-functional organizations, marketing agencies, or social media agencies.
- Experience managing social media for consumer brands, including content creation, community engagement, and performance analysis.
- Strong understanding of social media best practices across Meta, X, and TikTok.
- Awareness of emerging social media trends and digital engagement strategies.
- Excellent copywriting skills.
- Ability to conceptualize and collaborate with production teams to bring content ideas to life.
- Proficiency in social media management tools like Sprout, Sprinklr, or Hootsuite (preferred).
Availability:
Preference will be given to candidates available immediately after accepting the offer.
