Garment Manufacturing Supervisor
Job summary
A leading garment manufacturing company in Sharjah is seeking an experienced production supervisor to direct and coordinate activities of sewing machine operators, ensuring quality standards and efficiency in production. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a related field and 3-5 years of supervisory experience in garment manufacturing. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential. The role includes training staff, maintaining inventory levels, and overseeing equipment maintenance.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in garment manufacturing, particularly in a supervisory role.
Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate sewing machine operators' activities.
- Examine finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Train new employees on sewing machine operation.
- Maintain and monitor inventory levels.
- Assist with production forecasting and planning.
- Oversee maintenance of sewing equipment.
- Identify and resolve production issues.
- Prepare reports on production performance.
