Overview
Reporting to the Service Line Manager/ Nurse Manager, the Senior Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized nursing care provided to patients and their family members according to current best-evidence based standards, using best judgement within their designated clinical area at all times in alignment with DOH/DHA and the organization's policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards. The Senior Registered Nurse must also deliver direct patient care whilst coordinating and overseeing nursing practice, with the ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service. The Senior Registered Nurse is responsible for deputizing for the Line Manager in their absence, driving forward evidence-based practice and taking responsibility for the supervision of staff and the policies and practices that operate within their clinical area.
