Job Title : Aircraft Interior Painter / Prepper
Location : Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Reports To : Paint Workshop Manager

Overview :

Key Responsibilities :

1. Prepare all necessary materials, tools, equipment, and documentation at the start of each shift to ensure seamless operations.
2. Execute paint preparation tasks to the highest industry standards, ensuring surfaces are adequately cleaned, sanded, and primed.
3. Interpret and apply the latest revision drawings accurately, ensuring proper masking procedures are followed.
4. Apply epoxy and filler primers as required, ensuring adherence to technical specifications.
5. Apply basecoats and topcoats following work instruction sheets, maintaining consistency and quality in finishes.
6. Perform paint thickness measurements (wet / dry) and adhesion checks, meticulously recording all relevant information.
7. Stay updated on new Technical Notices and Quality Notices issued, ensuring compliance with general and technical information.
8. Complete all tasks safely and in compliance with company procedures and quality standards, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Skills and Experience :

1. Solid background in auto body repair and painting or similar training.
2. Experience with fiberglass and composite fill and finish techniques.
3. Minimum of 5 years’ experience with aircraft paint and finish techniques.
4. Proven experience within the aircraft interiors and exteriors sectors.
5. Ability to understand and work from engineering drawings.
6. Capacity to take, understand, and follow verbal directions effectively.
7. Ability to manage day-to-day workload with minimal supervision.
