Solar Project HSE Lead: Onsite Safety & Compliance
Job summary
A leading company in renewable energy is seeking an experienced HSE Supervisor for a Solar PV project in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements on site, ensuring compliance with project standards and regulations. Responsibilities include conducting site inspections, managing HSE records, and liaising with the Site Manager. Applicants must have a technical diploma with a minimum of 5 years' experience in Solar PV construction projects, with relevant HSE certifications preferred.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Solar PV construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction site HSE risks and controls.
- HSE certifications like NEBOSH or IOSH are an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Implement and enforce the Project HSE Plan.
- Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety inductions.
- Monitor contractor compliance with HSE procedures and permits to work.
