We are looking to hire a very skilled Plumber Technician for one of our construction companies in Al Ain. A Skilled Plumber Technician is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. The role involves diagnosing plumbing issues, fixing leaks, installing pipes, fixtures, and appliances, and ensuring the plumbing systems are functioning safely and efficiently. A skilled plumber must have extensive knowledge of plumbing codes, systems, and techniques along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

1. Installation of Plumbing Systems:
   

   • Install new plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances (e.g. sinks, toilets, water heaters).
     
   • Ensure all installations comply with safety regulations and local plumbing codes.
     

2. Maintenance and Repairs:
   

   • Perform routine maintenance to keep plumbing systems functioning properly including cleaning drains, checking water pressure, and inspecting pipes.
     
   • Diagnose and repair plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, low water pressure, and faulty plumbing fixtures.
     

3. Troubleshooting:
   

   • Use specialized tools and techniques (e.g. pressure gauges, pipe cameras) to identify plumbing problems.
     
   • Solve complex plumbing issues and offer cost-effective solutions for repairs or replacements.
     

4. Inspection:
   

   • Conduct regular inspections of plumbing systems to ensure they meet safety and code standards.
     
   • Advise clients on potential plumbing issues and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades.
     

5. Customer Interaction:
   

   • Communicate with customers to explain plumbing issues, solutions, and estimated costs for repairs.
     
   • Provide excellent customer service ensuring client satisfaction and addressing concerns or questions.
     

6. Documentation and Reporting:
   

   • Maintain accurate records of services provided including detailed notes on repairs, maintenance, and installations.
     
   • Generate invoices for services rendered and ensure that all work is documented for billing purposes.
     

7. Compliance with Regulations:
   

   • Ensure plumbing installations and repairs meet all local building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
     
   • Obtain permits and schedule necessary inspections as required for specific plumbing projects.
     

8. Tool and Equipment Management:
   

   • Maintain clean and manage plumbing tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.
     
   • Keep tools and materials organized for efficient job completion.
     

1. Education:
   

   • High school diploma or equivalent.
     
   • Completion of an apprenticeship or technical training program in plumbing is preferred.
     
   • Plumbing certifications and licensing may be required (depending on location).
     

2. Experience:
   

   • Previous experience as a plumber or plumbing technician is often required.
     
   • Experience working with residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing systems.
     

3. Skills:
   

   • Knowledge of plumbing codes, safety standards, and regulations.
     
   • Proficiency in using plumbing tools and diagnostic equipment (e.g. pipe cameras, pressure gauges, augers).
     
   • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
     
   • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings for plumbing systems.
     
   • Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
     

4. Physical Requirements:
   

   • Ability to lift and carry heavy tools and plumbing materials (up to 50 lbs).
     
   • Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights, or in challenging environments.
     

• Location: Residential homes, commercial buildings, industrial facilities, construction sites, or clients' properties.
  
• Hours: Full-time with occasional overtime or emergency callouts required.
  
• Work Environment: Plumbing technicians may work indoors or outdoors in varying conditions. Some tasks may require working in confined or difficult-to-reach areas.
