A little taste of your day-to-day:

• Analyse, troubleshoot, install, rebuild, adjust and replace commercial kitchen appliances, commercial refrigeration equipment and HVAC equipment.
• Perform major and/or minor repair, as well as preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Track work orders and prioritize repair tasks to provide timely repairs and reduced downtime.
• Inspect, repair, modify and install refrigeration equipment.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections of refrigeration units and HVAC equipment.
• Repair or replace defective parts in units and equipment.
• Perform skilled electrical maintenance repair, installation and alteration of HVAC equipment.
• Lubricate and pack HVAC motors, pumps, fans and other equipment.
• Install and calibrate systems, install and repair copper tubing pipes, and maintain pressure and temperature safety valves.
• Maintain related records concerning time, labor and materials.
• Ensure pool chemical levels are in accordance with legislative requirements.
• Ensure plant rooms are checked and cleaned and are in operating order.
