Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Maintenance & Repairs:

1. Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, circuit breakers, and electrical panels.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults in guest rooms, kitchens, banquet halls, and other hotel facilities.
3. Repair or replace defective electrical components such as switches, outlets, motors, and wiring.

Preventive Maintenance:

1. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment to prevent breakdowns.
2. Ensure all electrical installations comply with safety regulations and hotel standards.
3. Maintain backup power systems, including generators and UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply).

Emergency Response:

1. Quickly respond to electrical emergencies, power outages, and urgent repair requests.
2. Ensure fire alarms, emergency lighting, and other safety systems are operational.

Energy Efficiency & Safety Compliance:

1. Monitor and suggest improvements to reduce energy consumption.
2. Ensure adherence to local electrical codes and safety guidelines.
3. Use proper protective equipment and follow safety protocols.

Collaboration & Reporting:

1. Work closely with other maintenance team members, including HVAC, plumbing, and general technicians.
2. Maintain accurate records of electrical repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
3. Report any major issues to the Chief Engineer or Engineering Supervisor.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an Electrical Technician, preferably in a luxury hotel or hospitality environment.
