Overview of the role:
To provide after sales technical support for all the products marketed by AutoEquip, ensuring all assigned tasks are completed on time, the equipment repairs are executed in line with the team leader's established work procedures and specifications, and that maintenance is completed on time so that overall productivity and quality objectives are met or exceeded.

What you will do:

1. Plan and efficiently execute a schedule of daily, allocated work through proper prioritizing and management of resources.
2. Ensure that all the job cards are properly filled in and signed.
3. Diagnose, carry out quality repair in a safe manner and test after completion of repair.
4. Perform quality checks after job execution and demonstrate repair to customer.
5. Keep up with new technology, work procedures, time standards and relevant technical know-how to maintain or improve work productivity and quality.
6. Perform other tasks assigned by immediate superior or manager, contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
7. Recommend spare part stocks according to usage/failure history.
8. Comply with the ALAC Quality Management System and participate in the organization’s improvement activities.
9. Carry out work with care ensuring not to endanger the life either of themselves or others by their acts or omissions whilst complying with health and safety requirements of the company and preventing any harm to the environment.

Required Skills to be successful:

1. Mechanical diagnostic ability within Workshop equipment.
2. Ability to identify problem areas and propose solutions.
3. Following instructions and procedures.
4. Workshop experience.

About the Team:
Reporting to the Team Leader and working closely with the workshop team.

What equips you for the role:

1. ITI/ Diploma in Automobile Engineering.
2. 3-5 years of experience within Workshop equipment as a Technician.
3. Technical skills.
4. Basic computer skills.
5. Proficiency in reading, understanding, and writing English to follow Autoequip Equipment Trainings.
