Ensure that the schedules are correctly executed• Ensure forklifts (fleet) maintenance, repairs, and services• Communication and Reporting• Identify and address potential issues before escalation by keeping open lines of communication with all departments. Establish feedback loops to continuously improve communication and processes.• Management• Develop and implement a proactive/preventative maintenance strategy• Planning, managing, and controlling the maintenance budgets• Manage and oversee workshop and spare parts area• Managing and planning a digital maintenance system (CMMS)• Compliance• Ensure all compliance-related maintenance tasks, including certification, services, and repairs, are completed as required• Adherence to policies and regulations• Health and Safety• Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all materials and handling equipment• Ensure safety protocols are followed and implemented• Risk mitigation and hazard management• Human Resources• Manage staff performance, discipline, and training• Succession PlanningONLY short-listed candidates will be contacted.
