The advertised postdoctoral position is centered on ecosystem‑based monitoring and modelling of offshore marine protected areas (MPAs) under the influence of climate change. As climate change continues to pose significant threats to marine habitats, particularly in coastal and offshore regions, there is a growing need for robust scientific approaches to monitor, model, and protect these vulnerable ecosystems. This research is positioned at the intersection of engineering, environmental science, and policy, aiming to inform effective management and conservation strategies for MPAs. The work is part of the SEAMPHONI project, funded by Horizon Europe, which underscores its international significance and potential for wide‑reaching impact.
