We're looking for a SEO Content Specialist to join our growing SEO Content team to focus on growing content for our Thailand market. Thailand is one of the biggest opportunities for Wise in APAC and we need you to accelerate its growth!

Content and SEO at Wise is about making sure we offer the best possible content and on-site experience to our customers. We don’t believe in stuffing keywords in a blog article or building artificial links - but we do believe in great copy that inspires and helps readers to find answers.

This role is for candidates who are passionate about content creation and digital marketing, with strengths in developing long-term SEO content plans for websites and blogs. If you have extensive content writing experience in Thai language, and a general digital marketing background – we encourage you to apply too.

We’re looking for candidates who understand the Thailand market and speak Thai proficiently to take the lead on the content strategy for Wise’s Thai blog, collaborating closely with freelance copywriters and other marketing channels.

We produce content and monitor its performance too, because we believe that working in SEO means that you understand how the content you’re producing is helping the end user.

• Produce high quality SEO optimised content in Thai for Wise’s Thailand blogto help fuel adoption of Wise’s products. The target audience is the Thai diaspora, both locally and globally. You will also expand your impact by creating English content targeting foreigners in Thailand and potentially contribute to other APAC blog locales as well.

• Revisit, optimise and improve older articles to boost their performance

• Own your content - from ideas to briefing, proofreading, editing and finally publishing articles: you will own every stage of the process

• Understand the nuances ofcustomers, identifying their specific needs, wants, and pain points within the Thai market, ensuring Wise\'s products are presented as the right fit

• Explain our products in an easy to understand way for the readers

• Conduct keyword research to plan content that drives organic traffic to our blog and attract new customers

• Find, coordinate and manage a network of freelance writers and agencies

• You are comfortable applying AI for content creation and automation, keeping high-quality content standards first

• Edit copy - you’re not afraid to fix copy or make direct changes when necessary

• Make data-driven decisions using a range of SEO and analytics tools

• Know and proactively monitor the competitor landscape in your locale

• Size up and prioritise content projects/initiatives based on high growth impact/potential

• Articulate and write-up the problem you're trying to solve as well as your hypothesis for how to fix it

• Communicate key insights and obstacles to the team and broader Marketing team

• Collaborate with regional marketing channels and product managers to align and discover new content opportunities

• Follow frameworks - you will ensure our content follows legal, brand and PR guidelines

• Acquire new customers for Wise in a scalable and highly cost-effective way to accelerate our mission of making foreign exchange eventually free.

• Own one of the highest potential search markets in Wise and directly see your impact. Your content could reach millions of readers!

• Work autonomously with help from your lead and other team members

• Deepen your SEO and marketing skills by working with talented people in the wider marketing team at Wise

• Be part ofthe SEO content team, probably the most international team in Wise, which consists of 50(and counting) people from 20 different countries

• If you’re already an experienced marketer, a chance to identify a new way of working or initiative that helps bring growth to our channel as a whole

• You have a good understanding of the Thai Market and have local insights about the needs and pain-points of managing money internationally in Thailand

• 2+ years of experience in developing long-term SEO content plans for websites and blogs. If you have extensive Thai content writing experience of 4+ years and a general digital marketing background – we encourage you to apply too

• You have strong proficiency withboth written and spoken Thai and English (our internal communication language is English, so this is a must)

• You are curious about using AI and automation to boost productivity

• You have a keen eye for content quality, andcan assess readabilityforthe Thai Diaspora proficiently

• You have a great eye for detail and what makes ‘good’ content when it comes to words and visuals; from small copy changes to fixing blog articles in bulk

• It’s a plus if you yourself used Wise or similar products to move / manage your money internationally

• You love data. From traffic numbers to conversion rates, you understand how to measure the performance of your work

• You’re great at building relationships and working with people outside of your own team to get things done (e.g. local freelancers, other teams at Wise)

• You are able to use different SEO tools (GA, GSC, Ahrefs, SEMRush, data visualization platforms) and explain your analysis / findings to other people in an easy-to-understand way

• You’re strategic and used to building hypotheses / new initiatives backed by data

• You thrive more on autonomy than structure. You’re not afraid to take responsibility and ownership of your work

• If you have some experience of using or working with digital finance brands, banks or products, it’s a plus

Please be aware that your primary focus in this role will be creating and managing long-term SEO blog content pipelines, rather than writing or technical optimisations. Technical SEO skills without demonstrable editorial experience would not an ideal fit for this role.
