The Role: Content Writer

Our content is what distinguishes us from our competitors, has shaped us to be a thought leader, as well as a source of reliable information when it comes to home renovation and all things home and living. We're looking for a creative writer who has experience and/or interest in creating home and living content across various formats.

Main Duties

1. Create engaging and relevant long- and short-form content, such as web articles, infographics and video scripts
2. Conduct interviews with interior designers, home and living merchants, as well as homeowners
3. Liaise with (and occasionally pitch to) external parties for content partnership pieces
4. Independently research content pieces and analyse the effectiveness of published content with a data-driven approach
5. Other ad hoc duties such as copywriting for marketing collaterals, print publications etc.

Desired Experience And Traits

1. Min. 2 years of experience producing editorial content in a startup, advertising agency, publisher or as part of an in-house marketing team
2. Creative and strategic thinker; able to think out of the box and produce content that is intriguing, insightful and relevant
3. Good design sense, a keen eye for detail and a knack for marketing
4. Certification in (or minimally a working understanding of) SEO
5. Solutions-oriented and a self-starter; adept at juggling multiple deadlines and projects

Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a written content assessment as part of the hiring process.
