Maintenance Mechanical Engineer

Our client is a leading company in manufacturing and sales of thermoplastic. The company needs Maintenance Mechanical Engineer to upkeep the manufacturing plants.

The role of the Maintenance Mechanical Engineer includes:

• To lead a team of Mechanical Supervisors and contractors in performing all the plant modification & civil works to ensure work are carried timely, safely and with good maintenance practices with no disruption to plant operations

• To coordinate with plant operators and other maintenance groups in the execution of plant modifications works with no compromise to safety of workers and integrity of facilities.

• Provide engineering support for plant troubleshooting.

• Provides engineering study, cost estimation and executions of plant modification and project works to improve plant performance, reliability

• Work closely with Purchaser to prepare bidding document, technical evaluation & contractor selection for major engineering work

• To conduct and arrange training for staff and contractor to enhance their skill and competency levels.

• To implement management systems based on standards stipulated under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, SS506, Hazop and Safety Case

• To maintain proper documentation and filing of as-built document, work procedures & engineering specification.

Job Requirement:

• Applicants should possess a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Material Engineering.

• Applicants should have 2 - 3 years of experience in fixed equipment and piping work related in petrochemical, oil and gas industry.

• Essential prerequisites include good analytical & problem solving skills, ability to communicate with staff in different functions & contractors, and strong spirit of collaboration & teamwork.
