Job description

The Opportunity

This role is responsible for building and delivering our core content for the Group, creating compelling, informative, and engaging narratives to support Toll’s engagement with customers, conversion and revenue through digital and email channels. This includes leading the content writing and managing the teams responsible for creative delivery across design and multimedia.

  • Lead, craft and implement a comprehensive content strategy, ensuring a unified brand voice aligned with business goals across various channels including and not limited to marketing campaigns, social media, product, webinars, thought leadership pieces, infographics, customer newsletters, case studies, videos and digital content
  • Plan editorial calendar and lead editorial meetings with key stakeholders to ensure consistent push of content across all channels (website, social media, email etc). Develop and execute strategies for distributing content across multiple channels (ex. social media, email, partnerships) and exploring paid distribution opportunities. Oversee the creation, curation and distribution of high-quality content across diverse mediums ensuring all content is well researched and relevant for an impactful storytelling approach that will elevate brand awareness around Toll
  • Manage Toll’s social media presence to drive brand and marketing objectives, overseeing scheduling, and utilizing reporting/analytics to continually improve effectiveness. Collaborate with the Head of Marketing to ensure alignment with the overall marketing strategy.. Maintain an organized content management system for easy access and reuse of content assets. Manage content workflows, approvals and publishing processes to streamline production. Review and edit content to ensure it meets quality standards, factually accurate, and adhering to brand voice, guidelines and tonality.
  • Monitor and report content performance with analytics tools to track content success and ROI, email campaign performance and deliverability rates, using insights to refine content strategies and improve future content. Ensure all content is legally compliant, adhering to copyright laws and industry regulations, email marketing laws and regulations (opt ins, opt outs) following proper protocols for sensitive or regulated content
  • Design, write and create engaging email campaigns that are responsive, visually appealing and optimized for different devices with the support of email marketing platforms. Conduct email campaign optimization and develop automated email workflows, using segmentation strategies to nurture prospects, promote cross sells and gain win backs. Manage and segment the email list to ensure targeted communication with specific customer segments. Monitor and report content performance with analytics tools to track content success and ROI, email campaign performance and deliverability rates, using insights to refine content strategies and improve future content. Develop and implement an overall email marketing strategy identifying target audiences and segments to create personalized and relevant email content.
  • Collaborate with the Toll Design Studio – focusing on content copywriting and design to produce visually appealing and engaging materials. Collaborate with marketing teams to promote content effectively

To Be Successful, You'll need:
• 3+ years previous experience in similar role
• Leading creative team with creating copy for creative campaigns and eDM journeys
• Short-form social and web/digital content and writing for B2B audiences
• Well-developed ability in converting technical and/or complex topics and concepts into plain language
• A reliable, detailed and focused individual who enjoys working and collaborating within a creative team. The ability to manage multiple projects, pressing timelines and some ambiguity with ease
• CMS experience . Experience with basic design tools (e.g. Canva), Salesforce and Marketo an advantage
