Job description

Content Creation

  • Product Content Development: Write and edit product descriptions and content for e-commerce sites, ensuring clarity and consistency. Establish systems, standards, and best practices for new product listings, content creation, distribution, and ongoing updates.
  • Collaborative Content Creation: Work closely with cross-functional teams—product procurement, graphics, and sales—to keep content updated and aligned with business goals.
  • Written Content: Produce a range of written materials, including blog posts, articles, project references, website copy, product descriptions, and email newsletters.
  • Visual Content: Create or collaborate on the development of graphics, videos, infographics, and animations to support written content, including content for social media platforms, YouTube, and other video platforms.
  • Multimedia Assets: Depending on your skills, create or source multimedia elements such as photography, videos and more.

Content Strategy Development

  • Content Planning: Create a comprehensive content calendar that outlines topics, formats (such as blog posts, videos, and social media updates), and posting schedules, aligning with overall marketing goals.
  • Audience Insights: Conduct research on the target audience’s preferences, behaviors, and trends to produce content that resonates and fosters engagement.
  • SEO Integration: Develop content strategies that incorporate relevant keywords, optimizing for better search engine rankings and driving organic traffic.

Social Media Management

  • Platform Strategy: Design and execute content strategies tailored for specific platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube).
  • Audience Engagement: Foster community interaction by responding to comments, messages, and direct interactions on social media, building loyalty and engagement.
  • Analytics & Insights: Track post performance and social media engagement, analyzing key metrics like impressions, shares, likes, comments, and click-through rates (CTR).

SEO & SEM (Search Engine Optimization & Marketing)

  • Keyword Research: Perform keyword research to uncover SEO opportunities and integrate high-value keywords into content.
  • On-Page SEO: Optimize content for search engines by refining headings, meta descriptions, alt texts, and URLs.
  • Off-Page SEO: Work with teams to build backlinks and improve domain authority.
  • Content Optimization: Ensure that content is optimized for both search engines and user experience, improving visibility and engagement.

Website Content Management (WordPress & WooCommerce)

  • Website Updates: Regularly update and add fresh content (such as blog posts and landing pages) to the company’s website.
  • User Experience Focus: Ensure content is easy to navigate, mobile-friendly, and engaging, optimizing the overall user experience.
  • Landing Page Optimization: Create and refine landing pages to boost conversions for campaigns like lead generation or product promotions.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Performance Monitoring: Track content performance using tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and marketing dashboards.
  • Conversion Tracking: Monitor KPIs such as traffic, engagement, leads, sales, and bounce rates to evaluate the success of content initiatives.
  • Reporting & Insights: Prepare detailed performance reports, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement, and present findings to senior management.
  • A/B Testing: Test variations of content, headlines, or strategies to determine the most effective approach for engaging the audience.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with sales, product, and other teams to ensure content aligns with broader brand objectives and campaigns.

Campaign Management

  • Campaign Concept Creation: Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across various platforms, using content to engage the target audience.
  • Execution & Coordination: Manage daily content creation, curation, and distribution efforts within active campaigns.
  • Campaign-Specific Content: Tailor content for specific initiatives such as seasonal promotions, product launches, or influencer collaborations.

Email Marketing

  • Campaign Design: Create compelling email newsletters, promotional messages, and follow-up sequences with attention-grabbing subject lines, engaging copy, and clear calls to action.
  • Segmentation: Segment email lists based on audience demographics and behavior to ensure relevant content reaches the right recipients.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor open rates, click rates, bounce rates, and unsubscribe metrics to evaluate and optimize email campaign effectiveness.

Brand Awareness & Reputation Management

  • Building Brand Presence: Develop content that enhances brand visibility and establishes the company’s authority within the industry.
