Your Key Accountabilities
ISO Implementation :
- Maintain and ensure the continued certification of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 for Sunway Property, covering the southern region.
- Conduct internal audits across all departments annually, in preparation for external audits by SIRIM once a year for the southern region.
- Undertake any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
QESH Implementation :
- Perform pre-qualification site assessments for new tenderers to ensure adherence to QESH standards.
- Educate and train staff on the company’s QESH guidelines through regular briefings and training sessions.
- Provide support to the Project Team for effective QESH implementation on-site, ensuring QESH standards are followed throughout the construction process.
- Monitor and conduct monthly assessments for the Sunway Quality Merit System (SQMS), Sunway Safety Merit System (SSMS), and Pre-Qlassic assessments for all projects.
- Assist in monitoring environmental compliance according to EIA approval by the Department of Environment (DOE).
- Assist in safety and health compliance by conducting risk assessments and developing Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC) documents to identify and mitigate workplace risks.
- Undertake any ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the immediate superior.
QESH Documentation Management
- Ensure the consistent use of standardized forms and templates across the organization.
- Conduct project archiving upon project completion to ensure proper documentation management.
- Undertake any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
To be successful in this role, you are likely to possess:
Qualification
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Science, Quantity Surveying, Environmental Science or equivalent
- MUST be a registered Safety & Health Officer with valid yellow book with DOSH.
- Strong knowledge in relevant law and regulation pertaining to Environment, Safety & Health such as OSHA 2022, EQA 1974, FMA 1967 (Repel), CIDB 1994 etc.
- Well versed in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
- Possess good writing and reporting skills
- Good discipline and attitude
Experience
- Minimum 2 years experiences in managing implementation system of Quality, Environment, Safety & Health in construction industry
Technical Skills
- Computer literate, ie, Microsoft Office (word, excel, power point)
- Proficient in both written and spoken English.
- Possess knowledge in applicable environmental, schedule waste management, safety & health legal and other requirement and good practise.
- Knowledge in Quality, Environment, Health & Safety (QESH) systems and standards.
