Job description
A. Department Management & Team Building

1. Be responsible for the overall operation and management of the Technical & Quality Department, formulate the department's annual, quarterly and monthly work goals and work plans, decompose them to each subordinate position, clarify the division of labor and assign responsibilities to individuals, supervise the implementation of the plans, regularly review work results, and optimize work schemes.

2. Coordinate the recruitment, training, assessment, motivation and management of the subordinate teams (technology, quality, R&D), establish and improve the employee performance appraisal system, salary and welfare system and training system, improve employees' professional skills, quality awareness and innovation ability, and build a high-quality and high-execution technical quality team.

3. Create a positive, collaborative and efficient working atmosphere in the department, coordinate and solve difficulties and problems in employees' work, strengthen cross-departmental collaboration (docking with production, procurement, sales, warehousing and other departments) to ensure the smooth progress of technical and quality related work; strictly abide by Malaysian labor laws and regulations, standardize employee management, and avoid labor disputes.

B. Technological R&D & Process Optimization

1. Combine the technological development trend of the fitness equipment industry (intelligent fitness, lightweight, environmental protection), market demand (home/commercial) and the company's strategy, coordinate the technological R&D work of fitness equipment, and organize the R&D team to carry out new product R&D and upgrading of existing products (such as structural optimization, functional upgrading, cost reduction).

2. Coordinate the overall optimization of the entire production process of fitness equipment, organize process engineers to formulate and revise standardized process documents (SOP) for core processes such as stamping, welding, spraying and assembly, optimize process parameters, solve process problems in the production process, improve production efficiency, reduce production loss, and ensure that the production process is compliant, efficient and stable.

3. Be responsible for the introduction and application promotion of new technologies, new processes, new equipment and new materials, organize technical verification and trial production to ensure that they adapt to the production needs of fitness equipment, promote the upgrading of the factory's production technology; dock with industry technical institutions and suppliers, track cutting-edge industry technologies, and improve the company's technological competitiveness.

4. Be responsible for the standardized management of technical documents (R&D drawings, process documents, technical standards, specifications, etc.), establish a technical document account, and ensure the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of documents, in line with local Malaysian product filing and industry standard requirements.

C. Quality Control System Establishment & Implementation

1. Strictly follow the ISO 9001 quality system, fitness equipment industry quality standards (EN 957, ASTM F1250) and local Malaysian product quality regulations, establish and improve the factory's quality control system (IQC, IPQC, FQC, OQC full process), formulate quality management systems, quality standards and inspection specifications, and ensure the effective operation and continuous improvement of the system.

2. Coordinate the entire process of quality control, supervise the quality supervisor and quality inspectors to carry out raw material inspection (pipes, steel, hardware accessories, plastic, etc.), process inspection (quality spot check of each production link), and finished product inspection (load-bearing, durability, appearance, safety performance of fitness equipment, etc.), ensuring that unqualified raw materials are not stored in the warehouse, unqualified semi-finished products are not transferred, and unqualified finished products are not delivered from the factory.

3. Be responsible for the overall management of quality testing equipment (such as tensile testing machine, hardness tester, dimension measuring instrument, etc.), formulate equipment calibration and maintenance plans, supervise calibrators to carry out equipment calibration work, and ensure that the testing equipment is accurate and effective, in line with industry testing standards and local Malaysian calibration specifications.

4. Coordinate the quality system audit, internal audit and external audit work, cooperate with the inspection, testing and filing work of local Malaysian quality supervision departments, industry associations and third-party testing institutions, ensure that the factory's quality control is compliant, and the products meet the market access requirements.

D. Quality Improvement & Problem Handling

1. Be responsible for the overall disposal of quality problems in the production process and customer complaint quality problems, organize the team to carry out cause analysis and root cause investigation, formulate rectification measures, supervise the implementation of rectification, track the rectification effect, form closed-loop management, and prevent similar problems from happening again.

2. Promote quality improvement work, organize QC group activities and quality research projects, carry out special improvements for common quality hazards of fitness equipment (such as welding cracks, loose assembly, appearance defects, etc.), and continuously improve product qualification rate and reduce quality costs.

3. Regularly count and analyze quality data (qualification rate, defect rate, customer complaint rate, etc.), form a quality analysis report, report to the production director/general manager, put forward quality improvement suggestions, and promote collaborative improvement of relevant departments such as technology, production and procurement.

E. Compliance Management & Other Work

1. Strictly abide by local Malaysian laws and regulations (Product Quality Law, Environmental Protection Law, Production Safety Law, Labor Law, etc.) and industry standards, ensure that all work of the Technical & Quality Department is fully compliant, timely respond to policy adjustments, and avoid compliance risks and related penalties.

2. Be responsible for the product quality certification and technical filing of fitness equipment, assist the sales department in docking with customer quality needs, provide technical support, quality inspection reports and other relevant materials, and help market expansion (focus on docking local Malaysian distributors and overseas export orders).

3. Regularly report the department's work (technological R&D, process optimization, quality control, team building, etc.) to the production director/general manager, submit technical reports, quality reports, cost analysis reports, etc., and implement various work instructions issued by superiors.

4. Complete other temporary work tasks assigned by the production director/general manager (such as new technology introduction, special quality rectification, emergency disposal of product testing etc.).

5. Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by Immediate Superior.

A. Basic Requirements

1. Age: 30-50 years old, in good health, energetic, able to adapt to the work rhythm of department overall management, and accept flexible on-duty and emergency disposal work.

2. Language: Proficient in Malay and English for communication, negotiation, document processing and technical exchange, and those who can communicate in Chinese are preferred; have good bilingual writing ability in Chinese and English, and can independently write technical reports, quality reports, management systems and other official documents.

3. Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, Materials Science or related fields.

The applicants with more than 5 years of technical and quality management experience in the fitness equipment industry may have the education requirement to a diploma level.

B. Experience & Skill Requirements

1. Industry Experience: More than 5 years of technical and quality management experience in the fitness equipment industry, including more than 3 years of department management experience, familiar with the R&D process, production process, quality standards and testing methods of all categories of fitness equipment (strength equipment, aerobic equipment); those with Malaysian manufacturing technical and quality management experience and familiar with Malaysian product quality regulations and industry standards are a top priority.

2. Technical Skills: Solid foundation in fitness equipment technological R&D and process optimization, able to independently lead new product R&D and process improvement projects; familiar with ISO 9001 quality system, EN 957, ASTM F1250 and other industry standards, able to skillfully establish and operate the quality control system; understand the calibration and use methods of fitness equipment testing equipment, and have basic testing technical capabilities.

3. Management Skills: Excellent overall management ability, team management ability, cross-departmental collaboration ability and problem-solving ability, able to independently coordinate the entire process of technological R&D, process optimization and quality control; have strong decision-making ability and organization and coordination ability, able to effectively motivate the team and promote the implementation of various work.

4. Compliance and Other Skills: Familiar with local regulations related to product quality, environmental protection, and workplace safety; possesses strong compliance management awareness and risk prevention and control capabilities. Demonstrates solid data analysis skills and the ability to optimize management plans through technical and quality data. Proficient in office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CAD etc.) and technical and quality management systems.

C. Quality Requirements

1.
