The primary role of Production & Assembly function is to manufacture, assemble and pack products. Key deliverables include managing the day-to-day production & planning functions for manufacturing whilst supporting changing demands. Programming, set-up, and monitoring of the production equipment/processes and performing assembly operations. Performing Quality control checks of Incoming and finished goods. Ensuring compliance to ResMed’s Quality, OH&S, GMP policies and regulatory requirements.

The primary objective of Production Operation specialization within Production & Assembly Job Family is to mold, assemble and test components, devices and products ensuring compliance to GMP Quality and OH&S standards.
Key responsibilities include ensuring that the Production schedules and KPI’s are achieved to meet customer requirements.
Assists in setting up work stations and follows written or verbal process specifications in completing all assignments.
Focuses on the development and implementation of strategic and operational objectives that help achieve organizational mission. Implements organization strategies through the effective direction and management of employees and resources.
Interacts daily with subordinates and other functional groups.
Provides immediate supervision to a unit or group of employees, assigning tasks, checking work at frequent intervals, and maintaining schedules.
A portion of time is normally spent performing individual tasks related to the unit or sub-unit.
Generally supervises semi-skilled employees (e.g., assemblers, operators, clerical).

Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree.
Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
Requires full knowledge of own area of responsibility and applicable practices and procedures.
