Finance Analyst jobs in Malaysia

This role is designed for a high-performing Finance Analyst who is ready to step into leadership.

You will start as a hands‑on operator with strong ownership over reporting, process execution, and performance tracking, while progressively taking on team coordination, workflow ownership, and people leadership responsibilities.

Working closely with the Operations Manager, you will act as the bridge between data, execution, and team performance — ensuring our finance operations run accurately, efficiently, and at scale.

This is not a pure individual contributor role. Leadership exposure and ownership are core to the job.

1. Finance Operations & Execution
   • Own day‑to‑day finance operations across multiple subsections
   • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality across recurring operational tasks
   • Act as a go‑to person for issue resolution and operational troubleshooting
2. Data Analysis & Performance Reporting
   • Track daily and weekly KPIs to monitor team output and process health
   • Build and maintain Excel / Google Sheets dashboards (pivots, lookups, tracking sheets)
   • Translate operational data into clear insights for management decision‑making
3. Process Improvement & SOP Ownership
   • Review existing workflows and identify inefficiencies or risk points
   • Draft, improve, and enforce SOPs to support scale and consistency
   • Work cross‑functionally to ensure data and processes flow cleanly between teams
4. Leadership Exposure & Team Coordination
   • Support task coordination and execution tracking across the finance team
   • Guide junior team members on best practices and quality standards
   • Gradually take ownership of workflow supervision and execution oversight

• 3–7 years of experience in Finance, Fintech Operations, Accounting Ops, or Shared Services
• Strong analytical foundation with advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills
• Experience working with structured processes, SOPs, or operational workflows
• Comfortable operating in a remote, high‑ownership environment (GMT+7)
• Excellent written and spoken English

• Prior experience mentoring, guiding, or coordinating others
  (formal title not required)
• Clear interest in stepping into a Team Lead / Supervisor role
• Able to balance hands‑on execution with oversight responsibilities

• Experience in fintech, high‑growth startups, or investment environments
• Exposure to KPI tracking, process audits, or operational scaling
• Strong problem‑solving mindset — you don’t just flag issues, you propose fixes
