Morgan McKinley are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Finance Manager to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role will focus on finance business partnering, supporting strategic decision-making, and driving financial performance. The successful candidate will play a key role in the financial operations of the business, collaborating closely with key stakeholders to provide financial insights and improve commercial outcomes.

This role is paying £70,000 - £75,000 DOE with hybrid working available.

1. Business partnering with key operational and commercial teams, providing financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
2. Lead and support the preparation of financial reports, forecasts, and budgets.
3. Provide financial analysis on business performance, identify trends, and present findings to senior management.
4. Assist with the development and implementation of financial strategies to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
5. Drive the commercial review of key projects and initiatives, ensuring financial goals and targets are met.
6. Manage the financial forecasting process, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
7. Perform financial modelling and scenario analysis to inform key business decisions.
8. Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts and related reporting.
9. Ensure financial controls are maintained and adhered to, contributing to the effective management of risk.
10. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.

1. ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
2. Strong business partnering experience with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
3. Excellent Excel skills, including advanced financial modelling and analysis.
4. Previous experience in a commercial finance role, with a focus on financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
5. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
6. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
