Understanding this behavior and resulting performance of CPG products is not only critical to CPG retailers and manufacturers, but also to adjacent sectors such as media and advertising. In the newly created role of Business Development Manager for Media clients, you will be responsible for leading large, complex sales engagements across our portfolio of NielsenIQ Data-as-a-Service solutions to new and existing clients, and for expanding the business across this client vertical in a defined territory. This role will pioneer the development of commercial strategies to achieve new business, building meaningful client relationships, and ultimately closing deals. The successful candidate will join a new innovative team within the NIQ larger business. This fast-paced team is excited to have a new member join our group to build on the momentum we have established and deliver against lofty but attainable growth goals.
Responsibilities include:
Executing New Sales and driving revenue of NielsenIQ’s Data-as-as-Service solutions to a defined European territory across the Media & AdTech Clients.
Achieving sales and strategic objectives by clearly articulating NielsenIQ’s value proposition and use cases to decision makers specific to the Media & AdTech Data-as-a-Service proposition.
Building meaningful client relationships with client stakeholders and teams.
Working collaboratively with other product sales leads & cross functional partners internally.
Overachieving sales quota based on an individual sales goal as part of the Media & Adtech Vertical growth plans.
Generate sales leads and maintain a pipeline of sales opportunities across a portfolio of clients consistent with NielsenIQ’s growth strategy.
Accurately forecasting the sales pipeline, areas of growth, areas of risk and prioritize to close sales consistent with sales cycle norms.
Ability to weave client specific insights, industry material and thought leadership information into client conversations to build context and clarity to the outcomes our solutions can deliver.
Own cross functional relationships and be a subject matter expert for your accounts and partners in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:
5-8 years’ experience of selling data, technology and media solutions into Advertising Technology companies and Media Agencies.
Previous experience working in the areas of Data, Audience, or Media measurement solutions within the Media & AdTech Vertical.
Demonstrated success in achieving sales results and overachieving on Sales quotas.
Experienced in scoping and developing proposals, and negotiation strategies.
Excellent sales pipeline management skills with a track record of predictability and consistency.
Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
Knowledge of a European language (French or German) is a plus.
Familiarity with NielsenIQ tools, applications, and platforms is a plus.
Contacts within the Media & AdTech Vertical are a plus.
