Global Product Security Manager (d/f/m)

Come join a fantastic team! The Product Security Team at Leica Microsystems is an energetic, focused, and dedicated group within the Leica Microsystems R&D organization. Members of the Product Security Team work with each other and with Leica Microsystems product development teams all over the world to bring security solutions and maturity to our customers and stakeholders. Our positive and collaborative culture is productive and inclusive, and consequently a respected and sought-after resource.

1. Advise and inform internal stakeholders on cybersecurity standards, best practices, discovered issues, and maturity progress especially with respect to the industrial and life sciences industries.
2. Review, refine, and provide training on product security processes and security tool integrations.
3. Partner with product development teams in planning for, and approving secure designs with threat models, risk assessments, and security testing.
4. Continuously monitor for, coordinate response to, and manage discovered vulnerabilities within our product portfolio and their components.
5. Translate existing and new international standards and regulations (e.g., EU Cyber Resilience Act, AI Act, Data Act) into working policies and design requirements.

1. BS/MS degree in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) or equivalent.
2. Familiar with methods and tools of modern software development on different platforms.
3. Long-term experience in, and affinity for, product security development including threat modeling, risk assessment, vulnerability scanning, and security testing.
4. Strong communication and presentation skills, including fluency in written and spoken English and the ability to work with international teams.
