IS Governance Specialist
Are you passionate about IT governance? Join our team as an IS Governance Specialist and play a crucial role in governing our IS (Information services) area!
We are seeking a highly skilled IS Governance Specialist to support the effective governance of IS processes and systems, aligning them with the company's strategic objectives. The IS Governance Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting internal control processes and engagement models within the IS area.

In the role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• IS Internal Control Model: Develop and operate robust IS internal control processes to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
• IS Engagement Model: Develop and operate engagement models to facilitate effective collaboration and communication between the IS department, other business units and senior management.
• Policy and Procedure Development: Create and maintain IS governance policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and effectively communicated across the organization.
• Performance Monitoring: Develop and maintain metrics and KPIs to monitor the performance and effectiveness of IT governance initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you have:

• Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT governance, IT management, or a related field, preferably within the mining or a related industry.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design and implement effective governance frameworks and engagement strategies.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as COBIT (Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies) or ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) are highly desirable.
• Fluency in English: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.
• Decision Making: Demonstrated ability to make informed and timely decisions, balancing technical considerations with business objectives.
• Personal Integrity: High ethical standards and personal integrity, with a commitment to maintaining transparency and accountability in all IT governance activities.
