About the Role
- Lead the planning, scheduling, and financial management of capital building projects, infrastructure, and master planning.
- Bring a strong background in project design stages, regulatory authority requirements, and an in-depth understanding of the real estate market in the UAE and GCC.
- Provide expertise in LDC projects, capital building projects, infrastructure, and master planning, ensuring seamless project execution.
- Oversee the development and implementation of project control systems, including cost control, scheduling, risk analysis, and performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with project teams to establish and track project plans, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
- Manage resource planning and allocation, optimizing team utilization across multiple projects.
- Conduct Cost-to-Complete (CTC) reviews and financial forecasting to maintain project profitability and budget alignment.
- Prepare and present weekly and monthly project dashboard summaries to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators, budget variances, and risks.
- Develop and maintain the project revenue, EAC, and overall PNL.
- Lead change control and risk management processes, ensuring adaptability to unforeseen challenges.
- Deliver consulting and advisory services to clients, providing high-value project control solutions.
- Lead and mentor project control teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, efficiency, and excellence.
What do we need from you
- 10+ years of experience in project controls within engineering, architecture consulting, or professional services firms.
- Expertise in Primavera P6, MS Project, Smartsheet, and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Strong knowledge of earned value management (EVM), cost estimation, budget management, and risk analysis.
- Experience with leading cost control systems, PS, and variations.
- Proficiency in resource management tools to optimize team allocation and workload distribution.
- Hands-on experience with Smartsheet and other digital project control tools such as PowerBI for tracking progress and resource planning.
- Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies, risk management, and change control processes.
- Experience developing and managing WBS and CBS for complex projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Expertise in Cost-to-Complete (CTC) reviews to assess financial health and project forecasting.
- Strong background in resource allocation, workforce planning, and utilization tracking.
- Proven ability to work in a consulting role, delivering high-value project controls services to clients.
