PMS IT Specialist (Opera) — Hotel Tech & Support
Job summary
A leading hospitality firm in Dubai is seeking an IT Specialist responsible for implementing and maintaining the Property Management System (Opera). The role involves ensuring the PMS is updated and assisting staff with technical support for hotel operations and personal computers. Candidates should have a background in IT and experience in the hotel industry, with strong skills in hardware, software, and networking. This is a fulltime position with no remote work option.
Qualifications
- Four years of experience in the hotel business is preferred.
- Deep knowledge in computer hardware, software, database, and networking.
- Experience in systems design analysis and project implementation of central reservation system modules.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain the Property Management System (Opera).
- Ensure the PMS is updated with the latest version.
- Assist users with hotel operations and support for personal computers.
- Handle software fault reports and enhancement requests.
