Job Summary:
The Electrical Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment on marine vessels. This role involves diagnosing electrical issues, performing repairs, and ensuring electrical safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems, circuits, and components on marine vessels.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and develop repair solutions.
- Install and maintain electrical systems and wiring.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers on electrical projects.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or certification in electrical engineering.
- Proven experience as an electrical technician in a marine or industrial setting.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Knowledge of marine electrical systems and safety standards.
