Run the daily maintenance operations of the property and buildings under supervision of the Technical Supervisor and Facility Manager.

Inspect property and buildings for life/safety issues and take immediate corrective action.

Identify building maintenance needs, prioritize work, and take corrective actions.

Perform a full range of skilled building maintenance for extended periods of time.

Attend to repairs and maintain a variety of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and building equipment in a timely manner.

Report incidents and potential risks that may be identified and take appropriate action to rectify these.

Seek permission to access restricted areas of the Hospital.

Ensure safe work procedures are followed.

Read and interpret sketches, drawings, diagrams, and blueprints.

Use a personal computer and appropriate computer software.

Be a self-starter and work independently in the absence of supervision.

Operate with a high level of personal organization and maintain a clean work area.
