Job summary

A leading engineering firm is looking for a Specialist Electrical Commissioning Engineer to join their team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of experience in commissioning within the oil and gas industry, with a Bachelor's degree in engineering as a must. Responsibilities include leading commissioning tasks and preparing procedural requirements for projects. Experience with ICAPS is essential, and familiarity with ATEX certified equipment is an advantage. This role requires a collaborative spirit and a commitment to diversity.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in similar position required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning EPC facilities.
  • Minimum overall 17 years of oil & gas experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead commissioning activities for electrical facilities.
  • Prepare Pre-Procedural requirements for review and approval.
  • Identify consumables for commission and start-ups.

Skills

Experience of ICAPS or similar systems
Excellent communication skills
Experience with multicultural project teams
Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning experience
Familiarity with ATEX certification

Bachelor's degree in engineering
