Job summary
A leading utilities and infrastructure company in the UAE is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a greenfield CCGT project in Taweelah, Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing electrical engineering tasks throughout the project lifecycle, from planning and design to construction and operation. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and 5 to 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in power generation. This position promises stability and a long-term impact in the energy sector.
Qualifications
- 5 – 7 years of proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, preferably in CCGT or EPC projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering practices and standards.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project teams to develop and review electrical engineering project plans.
- Review design documents prepared by the EPC contractor and provide comments.
- Oversee electrical construction activities to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Implement quality control measures for electrical engineering components.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop electrical engineering budgets.
