We are seeking a highly creative, skilled, and detail-oriented Arabic-speaking Videographer and Video Editor to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, capturing, and producing high-quality video content from start to finish, primarily for digital platforms and internal communications. This role requires a strong aesthetic sense, technical proficiency in videography and editing software, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. A valid UAE driving licenseis essential for travel to various filming locations across the Emirates.
Key Responsibilities:
Videography:
●Plan, shoot, and light high-quality video footage for various projects, including but not limited to: promotional videos, social media content, corporate communications, event coverage, interviews, and testimonials.
●Operate and maintain professional video cameras (DSLR, Mirrorless, Cinema Cameras), lighting equipment, audio recording devices (microphones, recorders), gimbals, drones, and other relevant production gear.
●Develop creative concepts and storyboards in collaboration with the marketing and creative teams.
●Conduct on-location shoots, demonstrating adaptability and problem-solving skills in various environments.
●Ensure all footage is properly organized, labeled, and archived.
●Stay up-to-date with the latest videography trends, equipment, and techniques.
Video Editing & Post-Production:
●Edit raw footage into polished, engaging, and impactful video content using professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
●Incorporate motion graphics, visual effects, and animations to enhance video quality and storytelling.
●Select and mix appropriate music, sound effects, and voice-overs to create a compelling audio experience.
●Color correct and grade footage to ensure visual consistency and aesthetic appeal.
●Add subtitles and captions (Arabic and English) as required.
●Optimize video content for various platforms (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) ensuring correct aspect ratios, resolutions, and file sizes.
●Manage and organize video assets, ensuring efficient workflow and version control.
●Incorporate feedback from stakeholders effectively and iterate on edits to achieve desired outcomes.
Content Strategy & Collaboration:
●Collaborate closely with the Marketing, Communications, and other relevant departments to understand content needs and objectives.
●Contribute to the development of video content strategies that align with brand guidelines and marketing goals.
●Brainstorm and propose innovative video ideas to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
●Ensure all video content adheres to brand guidelines, legal requirements, and cultural sensitivities in the UAE.
Logistics & Administration:
●Manage and maintain video equipment, ensuring it is in excellent working condition.
●Arrange for necessary permits and permissions for shoots when required.
●Handle travel logistics for on-location shoots across the UAE.
●Maintain accurate records of projects, equipment usage, and expenses.
Skills
Qualifications & Experience:
●Native Arabic speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.
●Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience as a Videographer and Video Editor, preferably within a corporate, agency, or media environment in the UAE.
●Proven portfolio/showreel demonstrating strong videography, editing, and storytelling abilities across various video formats.
●Proficiency in professional video editing software, primarily Adobe Premiere Pro. (Knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Audition is a significant advantage).
●Hands-on experience with professional video cameras (e.g., Sony, Canon, Blackmagic), lighting setups, and audio recording equipment.
●Strong understanding of video production workflows, including pre-production, production, and post-production.
●Valid UAE Driving License is essential. (Please provide your license number if shortlisted).
●Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
