Job Overview:
Our in-house award-winning creative agency is looking for a Photo Editor / Photographer with excellent picture research skills and project management skills to be responsible for sourcing images across a wide range of projects.
You will collaborate with a global team of designers, editors, copywriters, and producers to bring our brand to life in a variety of formats, including digital advertising, social media content, video, email, and website platforms. We are looking for someone to come up with fresh and inspirational ideas, as we often also develop campaign strategy along with design concepts.

In addition to being visually literate, you are personable, hard-working, confident, and articulate. Sourcing images is the main responsibility of the role, though the ideal candidate would also have experience in photography and shoot production and would be open to using their skills for occasional headshot and event photography.
The role:
- Ensure excellent knowledge of the Oliver Wyman Brand Guidelines in order to maintain visual quality and consistency across all images, ensuring they are on brand and appropriate for global markets.
- Ability to analyse creative briefs for a better understanding of needs of a project.
- Develop innovative image concepts and source high-quality visuals that embody and amplify the Oliver Wyman brand for a diverse range of projects, including reports, social media, and marketing campaigns.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, delivering multiple, concurrent projects and can plan and prioritise projects in line with strategic priorities.
- Maintain excellent photography production workflows, from brief to delivery, archiving, labelling, and organising projects to ensure consistent team-wide process.
- Managing the daily image research and profile photo requests.
- Ensure all project deadlines are met.
- Act as the first point of contact for all picture queries, requests, new briefs, ensuring image principles are upheld.
- Participate in creative brainstorms, be a source of inspiration by bringing new ideas and concepts.
- Present and align image selections with creative directors and project leads and authors.
- Liaise with art directors to monitor picture quality.
- Provide feedback on image selections.
- Compile stock image libraries for the Oliver Wyman brand portal.
- Assist with sourcing external photographers.
- Retouch, format, and archive staff profile photos to Oliver Wyman guidelines.
- Retouch images for use across Oliver Wyman content and platforms.
- Benchmark against competitors and other brands with similar brand ethos and design.
Requirements and skills:
- International work experience as a photo editor/photo researcher. Experience in studio/event photography a plus.
- Strong problem-solver, who enjoys responding creatively to stakeholder briefs.
- Brilliant communicator who can collaborate directly with stakeholders, action feedback, and come up with creative solutions to get the best possible outcome.
- Creative mind with an eye for a great image, an elevated aesthetic, and storytelling skills to bring concepts to life.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Photography expert with extensive knowledge of photography trends and photographic sources, agencies.
- Strong understanding of image licensing and copyright law, permissions, and potential legal implications.
- Excellent time-management skills, ability to be proactive, multi-task, and prioritize effectively.
- Flexibility to perform in a fast-paced global environment and meet urgent deadlines.
- Advanced knowledge of industry-standard photo editing tools including Adobe Creative Suite to include Photoshop, Lightroom, CaptureOne, Figma, and various file transfer protocols, CMS/DAM systems.
- Ability to caption and catalogue archive content in in-house DAM system.
- Interest and skill in Generative AI image platforms a plus.
