The Talent Acquisition Officer is responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the company's workforce needs. This role involves full-cycle recruitment, including job posting, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding. The Talent Acquisition Officer will use strong communication skills, a keen eye for talent, and the ability to build relationships with both candidates and hiring managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Sourcing:
Utilize various sourcing methods, including job portals, social media, networking, and referrals.
Screen resumes and shortlist candidates based on job requirements.
Conduct initial interviews and coordinate with hiring managers for further assessments. - Candidate Management:
Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future openings.
Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
Provide timely feedback to candidates and keep them informed about the hiring status. - Job Posting & Employer Branding:
Draft and post job descriptions on relevant job boards and company career pages. - Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
Work closely with hiring managers to understand their talent needs and job specifications.
Coordinate interviews, assessments, and onboarding processes. - HR & Compliance:
Maintain accurate recruitment records and reports.
Ensure hiring practices comply with labor laws and company policies.
Participate in HR initiatives such as career fairs, internships, and employee referrals.
Core Competencies:
- Recruitment & Talent Sourcing:
Ability to identify, attract, and engage top talent using various sourcing techniques.
Proficiency in using job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and other hiring platforms. - Interviewing & Assessment:
Strong ability to conduct structured interviews and evaluate candidates objectively.
Familiarity with behavioral and competency-based interview techniques. - Stakeholder Management:
Ability to collaborate effectively with hiring managers, HR teams, and external partners.
Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to align candidate expectations with company needs. - Technology & Data-Driven Recruitment:
Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software.
Ability to use recruitment metrics (time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, etc.) for process improvement. - Time Management & Multitasking:
Ability to handle multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.
Strong organizational skills to prioritize urgent hiring needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques and recruitment best practices.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple roles simultaneously.
