Job summary
A leading architectural and engineering firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage cost control and contract administration for residential projects. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field and at least 7 years of experience in construction. - Minimum 7 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction projects, preferably in the UAE.
- Experience with TRANSCO or TAQA; approval from TRANSCO is preferred.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for cost management, BOQ preparation, and contract administration for assigned projects.
- Monitor project costs throughout the project lifecycle, identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions.
- Administer contracts, review and negotiate contract terms, pricing, and variations in collaboration with legal and stakeholders.
