is searching for enthusiastic and knowledgeable Budtenders / Bartenders / Baristers to join our team!

As a Budtender at The White Lion private members club, you'll be the welcoming face.

Your role is to connect with members, share your knowledge of our curated cannabis selections, or mocktails on offer ,and help each person find what best suits their individual needs and preferences.

This position is all about creating an engaging, being informative, and creating a comfortable experience that reflects the spirit of who we are as a pride. We offering educational courses for our employees.

• As a Budtender, you’ll be the face of the store - welcoming customers, providing excellent service, and guiding them through our cannabis and wellness products. (You’ll need to be confident, approachable, and professional, while also keeping the vibe cool and comfortable.)
• Greet and assist customers with product recommendations.
• Educate customers about cannabis strains, products, and wellness benefits (training provided if needed).
• Process cash and card transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment.
• Support daily operations, including restocking and inventory checks.
• Contribute to sales targets and team goals.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and eager to learn.
• Greet and interact with guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Maintain high service standards and resolve issues proactively.
• Proven bartending experience, including coffee preparation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Communicate clearly with colleagues and management regarding inventory needs, equipment issues, or customer feedback.

• Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee, tea, and other beverages accurately and consistently, following established recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure the dining area is clean, presentable, and properly set up at all times.
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other brewing equipment.
• Ensure all beverages meet high standards for taste, temperature, and presentation.
• Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and garnishing.
• Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and process payments using a POS system.
• Provide friendly, attentive, and efficient service.
• Resolve customer complaints or concerns courteously and professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.
• Create a positive and welcoming experience for every customer.
• Accurately handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Maintain a balanced till throughout your shift.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, coffee bar, and seating area throughout the shift.
• Regularly clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and serving areas.
• Restock supplies, cups, lids, and ingredients as needed.
• Develop a thorough understanding of all our products and services.
• Stay informed about new menu items, promotions, and daily specials.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail, especially regarding beverage preparation and order accuracy.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Must be 18 to 26 FEMALE

• Are outgoing, stylish, and confident with people.
• Have prior cannabis industry knowledge.
• Have either done a Budtender course or a Barista course or a Bartender course.
• A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Warm, patient, and approachable — you make others feel at ease.
• Curious and eager to keep learning about strains, formats, and evolving trends.
• Responsible, trustworthy, and committed to upholding our values and compliance standards.
• Experience in retail, sales, Barista or in a customer service role, preferably in a cafe or restaurant (preferred but not essential).
• Have Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques and garnishing.
• Worked in a Team and has strong communication skills.
