Barista: Craft Espresso & Guest Experience
Job summary
A leading hospitality company in Durban is seeking a barista to prepare and serve a variety of beverages like espresso and cappuccino. The ideal candidate should have a passion for coffee and excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities include greeting customers, ensuring beverage quality, and maintaining a clean work area. Previous barista experience is an advantage. This role requires the ability to work efficiently under pressure and the flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a hospitality role is an advantage.
- Reliable, punctual, and presentable.
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages.
- Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately.
- Operate coffee machines and related equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized barista station.
